We've been hard at work this year dreaming a new dream for our worship ministry. A big part of that new dream is a group of devoted worshipers entering into a deeper level of growth and discipleship. We are believing for incredible things in the future, but we know that incredible things are a product of the work of God's Spirit within us to bring about change. The change must start with us. Let's join together to be the change the world is crying for. Stay tuned for more!
Looks like I overlooked an important fact. Spring Break occurs in March. I scheduled our meeting for the week of NLR Schools Spring Break, so it is now scheduled for the next week. March 26 will be our March meeting. Enjoy the beach :)
The Secret Blend, by Stan Toler
This is a great book about relationships and how we treat the people around us. It is told in a modern-day parable that is easy for anyone to relate to. Many of you may already have it. This is a standard book around FirstNLR.
One problem! This book is out of print. It is available from select bookstores for a wide range of prices. Perhaps the best way to get it is in ebook format from iBooks or Kindle. In that format it costs just $5. We have some copies at the church. If you want one of those it will be $12. If you need a book email me.
As you know, our first meeting was interrupted by severe weather, so some of you may not be aware of the schedule. Here is our meeting schedule for the year:
